| Batesburg-Leesville Primary and the B-L and Twin City Rotary Clubs will present "Got Book?" on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the BLPS cafeteria. An art show will also be held from 5-7 p.m. and a spaghetti supper sponsored by the school's PTO will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. |
| Common Planning/Early Release Day will be held on Wednesday, February 1. There will be no Afterschool Program at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School on this date. Dismissal times for all schools are as follows: B-L Primary, 12:45 p.m.; B-L Elementary, 1:00 p.m.; B-L Middle, 1:36 p.m; and B-L High, 1:50 p.m. |

Hello! My name is Kelly Johnson. I am a lifetime resident of Batesburg-Leesville. I love Carolina Gamecocks. I also love to sing, and spend time with my family. I am a Panther graduate from BLHS "Class of 1997". I graduated magna cum laude from USC-Aiken in 2001. I hold a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my 10th year teaching. I am so delighted to have your child in my classroom. My husband is Jamie Johnson. He is a salesman for J.F. Johnson INC. We have 2 beautiful girls that attend B-L. Adrian is 13 and is a 8th grader at the Middle school. Amie is 7 and is in 2nd Grade here at the Primary school. We enjoy spending time with our children. Parenting is our upmost important job of all. I love children. I work with them at church, at school and at home. I feel that quality time with them is very important.
Mrs. Brown is the other part of our team. She resides in Leesville. She and her husband Robert have two sons Robbie and Chris. They have a granddaughter named, Cassidy. Mrs. Brown has worked in the school system for 26 years. She brings her love of children to our classroom and is a great asset for our team.
We both believe all children can learn. Each child has special gifts and learns in different ways. We will be working closely with your children to recognize these gifts and help them learn in all ways possible. The key for us to have a great year is through communication.
